As students ourselves, we know how much buying alcohol can be a financial vacuum to your bank account. Therefore we came up with a list of friends of our best tips to save money on drinks. 

Happy hour will become your best friend: 

Most bars organize happy hours for which the principle is simple: either you buy one drink and a second one is offered to you for free, or you get a discount on a selection of drinks. 

Happy hours are organized mainly towards the end of the day in the late afternoon or early evening.  Make sure to double check at what time the Happy Hour is at your local bar.

Download the right applications

Many applications for saving money on drinks exist. Thanks to them you will be able to discover the cheapest bars in your city. The first one you must have in your phone is Mistergoodbear it allows you to see the cheapest beers around you, with or without happy hours!  Another useful application is Schlouk map which is an application that allows you to discover the best bars and happy hours around you!  These applications can save you a lot of time and more importantly a lot of money when you are considering where and what time to go out to bars.

Open Bar parties

If you want to drink without spending any money boy do we have the solution for you!  Student parties are often the best way to find open bars.  Open bars are typically bars that offer free flow for a flat fee. Therefore, you can find some bars or parties that will let you get as many drinks as you want for as little as 10, 15 euros.
